The Cowboys are finally healthy coming off a bye on defense, and revamped the D at the trade deadline. It should be energized facing a Raiders offense that’s scored 7 or less in three of the last five weeks. This is more a fade on the Raiders, who have come close to winning but find ways to not pull it out.

Here we go again, another pick on the Browns, who just lost to the hapless Jets. Baltimore pounded Cleveland 41-17 in Week 2, but were outgained. This Browns defense is good but especially good at home, allowing just 11 ppg and 3.5 yards per play. The poor weather forecasted could keep scoring down. Lamar Jackson isn’t running as much since coming off his long injury break, which helps. Can Cleveland score enough to cover? It’s managed 20 and 31 points in two of the last three weeks after not getting to 20 in any of its first six games.

BYU suffered its first loss last Saturday, a 28-7 dud at Texas Tech. But Tech is a legit national title contender. The last two weeks, TCU lost by 3 to Iowa State and beat West Virginia by 6, teams the Cougars handled by 14 points each. BYU, at home, gets back on track.

The No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 draft, Demin joined the Nets’ starting lineup three games ago and has scored 8, then 10, then 16 points. He can continue that upward trend vs. the Magic, who allow the second-most points to the PG position.
